Crockpot Ground Beef Casserole

This cheesy pasta and ground beef casserole is one you’ll want to keep in your dinner rotation because it’s made with simple ingredients that yield tasty results.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6 minutes
Total Time: 16 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 16 oz macaroni pasta
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup orange bell pepper diced
  • 10 oz can of Tomatoes
  • 2 cups frozen corn
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups Mexican cheese blend

 

Instructions:

  1. Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Beef should be drained.
  2. In the bottom of the crockpot, place the drained ground beef.
  3. Season the ground beef with spices.
  4. Combine the orange pepper, onion, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and green chilies, frozen corn, cream cheese, 1 cup Mexican cheese, and beef broth in a large mixing bowl.
  5. To blend, stir everything together. Cook on low for 6 hours with the lid on the crockpot.
  6. Add the uncooked spaghetti to the crockpot after the timer has expired and stir to incorporate.
  7. Allow 20 minutes for the pasta to cook.
  8. Add the last 1 cup of cheese, cover, and set aside to melt.
  9. Green onions, chopped, go on top. Enjoy!
