Tender Oven-Baked Ribs

Ribs roasted in the oven are certain to be exceptionally tasty and fall-offthe-bone tender. Every time, flawless. Almost everyone who has tried them has proclaimed them to be the “greatest ribs ever.” The approach my mother taught me for achieving finger-licking perfection is detailed below. Ribs baked in the oven cook to a perfect tenderness and are simple to prepare.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes

Ingredients:

Ribs:

  • 3 pounds baby back ribs 2 slabs
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic sliced

Rib rub:

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper
  • ½ tsp salt or to taste

Bbq sauce:

  • ½ cup BBQ Sauce
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup

Instructions:

  1. Turn the oven on to 275 degrees. If used, combine the ingredients for the rib rub.
  2. Take off the white membrane from the ribs’ backside (the side with less meat). It should be simple to execute. Dry off the ribs and look for any fragments of bone.
  3. Salt and pepper the ribs or generously sprinkle the rub on top and rub it into the meat.
  4. Place the meaty side of the ribs down on a foil-lined baking sheet, then top with thinly sliced onion and garlic.
  5. Apply another piece of foil to cover and seal.
  6. For two hours, bake the ribs. To check if the ribs are tender, carefully open a corner of the wrapped foil and peel a small piece of meat off. If not, bake for an additional 20 to 30 minutes and recheck.
  7. Combine the ingredients for the BBQ Rib Sauce in the meantime.
  8. Take out the ribs and throw away the liquids, onions, and garlic. Olive oil and plenty of BBQ sauce should be brushed onto the ribs.
  9. Over medium-high heat, grill or broil for 5–10 minutes, or until blackened.
