Seven Layer Salad

I often prepare this layered salad of bacon, lettuce, onion, peas, cheese, and cauliflower in a sizable flat bowl. Everyone loves it, therefore there is never too much! By switching jack cheese for the Cheddar and red onions for green ones, you can change the salad’s flavor.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 large head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 package of frozen green peas,(10 ounces)
  • 10 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped cauliflower
  • 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • â…” cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a sizable, deep skillet, add the bacon. Cook until uniformly browned on a medium-high heat setting. Crumble, then place aside.
  2. Chop the lettuce and arrange it in a big, flat bowl with onion, peas, cheese, cauliflower, and bacon on top.
  3. Mayonnaise, sugar, and Parmesan cheese should be whipped together to make the dressing. Overdress salad with dressing, then chill in the fridge.
