Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole Recipe: A cheesy and delicious casserole dish made with spaghetti, ground beef, and cheese, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a potluck.

A hearty casserole that is inexpensive and simple to make is Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole. Feeding a family or a large group of people is easy and delicious with this casserole! One of my all-time favorite casseroles is Million Dollar Spaghetti, made according to this recipe. Essentially, it is a straightforward fusion of lasagna and baked spaghetti. (I know, doesn’t it sound delicious?)

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces dried spaghetti noodles
  • 1 large yellow onion chopped
  • 4-6 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 ½ pounds sweet Italian sausage casing removed
  • 3 tsp dried Italian seasoning divided
  • 48 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 8 ounces cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup butter

 

Instructions:

  1. Set the oven to 350°F.
  2. Large saucepan of salted water should be brought to a boil. Cook pasta as directed on the package, then drain well and put it back in the pot. Combine, then add one prepared jar of spaghetti sauce.
  3. 2 tablespoons of olive oil are heated over medium heat in a big skillet. Cook the onion and garlic for about 5 minutes, or until they start to soften. Cook the sausage in the skillet with 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning until no pink is visible. Good drainage To the skillet, add one jar of spaghetti sauce.
  4. Combine 1 cup mozzarella, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, cream cheese, cottage cheese or ricotta cheese, and sour cream in a medium mixing basin.
  5. Put half of the butter slices in a baking dish. Spread half of the spaghetti in the dish, then top with the cheese mixture. Over the cheese mixture, spread the rest of the spaghetti. Add the remaining pieces of butter on top. Over the top layer of spaghetti, evenly distribute tomato meat sauce.
  6. Add the remaining mozzarella on top, then bake the casserole for 35 to 45 minutes, or until heated through.
