Banana Cream Pie Icebox Cake


This Banana Cream Pie Icebox Cake is the perfect dessert for any occasion. It’s a banana lover’s dream with rich banana flavor and the light fluffiness of graham crackers. This icebox cake is so delicious that anyone who tastes it will exclaim how good it is!

  • 4 large ripe bananas
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 5.1 ounce instant banana cream pudding mix
  • 2 1/2 cups of milk
  • 16-ounce Cool Whip thawed
  • 14.4-ounce graham crackers
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract



  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  2. While whisking or beating on low speed, pour in the milk.
  3. Whisk in the pudding mix and vanilla extract until the mixture thickens.
  4. Half of the Cool Whip should be folded in.
  5. In the bottom of a casserole dish, spread a spoonful of the pudding mixture.
  6. Cover the plate with a single layer of graham crackers.
  7. About a third of the pudding mixture should be spread over the graham crackers.
  8. A layer of freshly sliced bananas should be placed on top of the pudding layer.
  9. To form three layers, continue layering graham crackers, pudding, and banana slices.
  10. Finish with the remaining Cool Whip on top of the last banana layer.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  12. Graham cracker crumbs, a whipped cream swirl, and/or fresh banana slices can be added as a garnish.
