Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- 0,24 once dry yeast
- 3/5 cup hot milk
- 1/4 cup softened butter
For the decoration:
- Whipped cream
- Strawberries, chopped
- Granulated sugar
Instructions:
- Stir the milk, sugar, and yeast to mix in a medium bowl.
- Egg is whisked. Start working the dough with a spatula after adding the flour and salt. After that, keep using your hands to knead the dough until it becomes elastic.
- When the butter is thoroughly integrated into the dough, add the softened butter and continue kneading.
- The dough should be rolled into a ball, covered with plastic wrap or a tea towel, and let to rise for an hour.
- Make eight balls out of the dough by dividing them into eight pieces. Allow standing for 30 minutes covered.
- Roll each ball back into a ball when it has been somewhat flattened. For another 30 minutes, cover and allow to rest.
- Cook the balls for two to three minutes on each side in heated oil over low heat.
- Cut in half lengthwise like a burger bun after allowing it to cool slightly.
- Closing with the other half after decorating the top half with whipped cream and chopped strawberries and serving.
