On your upcoming game day, you must prepare these huge beef nachos supreme. Refried beans, cheddar, tomatoes, green onions, and seasoned ground beef go so well together.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 bags of Tortilla chips
- Taco seasoning mix packet.
- 1 can of Refried beans
- A small diced onion.
- 3 small diced tomatoes.
- 2-3 green onions
- 16-ounces Shredded cheese
Instructions:
- Oven temperature set to 400 °F. Beef and onion should be sautéed in a pan until the onion is translucent and the meat is crumbled.
- Turn the heat to low after removing any extra fat from the pan, stir in the taco seasoning, and simmer for a few more minutes.
- Put two large baking sheets together by covering them with parchment paper.
- Spread out one bag of tortilla chips evenly across each tray, covering the entire area.
- Repeat the process twice more, dividing the refried beans into equal portions, and spooning some onto each tray of chips.
- Half of the cheese and half of the meat mixture should be placed on each tray. For each of the two trays, repeat this process.
- Bake the baking trays in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or just long enough for the cheese to melt and bubble thoroughly.
- After the cheese has melted, take the pan out of the oven and, if you like, top with the diced tomatoes and green onion.
- You may top these with salsa, sour cream, lettuce, black olives, or whatever else your family like eating with them.
- Embrace it!
