Asian Steak Bites

These Asian Steak Bites are a favorite every time I make them because they are hot and juicy inside while being crisp on the outside. This is one of my preferred methods for preparing beef.

The juiciest steak you’ve ever eaten, in bite-sized chunks, is ready in only a few minutes! Oh, how much I adore this dish. I tried this quick honey-soy marinade the last time I was craving steak bites, and WOW. These were a huge hit with the entire family, and they were gone in no time.

Although I generally enjoy cooking steaks on the stovetop, not everyone does. These tender steak pieces cook in a few minutes each time with minimum effort.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chili paste
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Slice the meat into 1/2″-wide strips against the grain. Slice each strip into bite-sized pieces that range in size from 1/2′′ to 3/4′′. Put the meat chunks in a medium-sized basin. The soy sauce, honey, and chili paste are combined. Pour over the beef and give it a good swirl to coat. Give the meat 20 to 30 minutes to marinade.
  2. A wok or heavy-bottomed pan made of stainless steel should be heated at high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the heated pan and swirl to coat. Spread out a third of the meat in a single layer in the pan. The beef should brown after about a minute of cooking. As the meat is done cooking, flip it over or toss it with a spatula for one or two more minutes. Remove the meat to a platter from the pan.
  3. Repeat the previous steps while adding half of the leftover meat to the heating pan. Put the prepared platter with the cooked meat on it. Before adding the remaining meat, if necessary, add the final tablespoon of oil to the pan. Repeat the procedure. Enjoy!
