Nothing says busy weeknight or easy weekend dinners like Crock-Pot ribs. Ribs are great for making ahead, letting cook all day, and then reheating but there’s something about the taste of the slow-cooked fall-off-the-bone ribs that is just amazing. Crock pot ribs are also great for feeding a crowd.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 4 hours
Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks baby back ribs about 3-4 lbs
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup water

Bbq rib sauce:

  • ½ cup BBQ Sauce
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup

Instructions:

  1. Combine all rub ingredients in a mixing bowl (below).
  2. Remove the silver membrane from the ribs’ backside. Rub the spice mixture on the front and back of the ribs.
  3. In a slow cooker, combine the onion, cut garlic, water, and ribs.
  4. Cook ribs for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low, or until fork tender.
  5. Preheat the oven to broil. Combine the ketchup, chili sauce, and barbecue sauce in a mixing bowl.
  6. Brush ribs with sauce mixture and broil (or grill) until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
