One of our favorite comfort foods is Crock Pot Mac & Cheese! Every day I try to make things easy for myself and my family. I love coming home at night, smelling dinner cooking in the kitchen, and having everything prepared for me. One dish that is always delicious is Crock Pot Mac and Cheese.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 2 Hours
Total Time: 2 Hours 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups macaroni
- 10 ½ ounces cream of chicken soup, condensed
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream regular or light
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dry mustard powder
- ½ tsp pepper
- 3 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup gruyere cheese
Instructions:
- To create macaroni noodles that are very al dente, boil them according to the package guidelines. (I cook them for 1-2 minutes shorter than the bag specifies.) Mine took 5 minutes to boil). Drain and thoroughly rinse with cold water.
- In a 4-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 3 hours, stirring once or twice.
- Serve immediately.
