Ingredients:
- 4 large ripe bananas
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 5.1 ounce instant banana cream pudding mix
- 2 1/2 cups of milk
- 16-ounce Cool Whip thawed
- 14.4-ounce graham crackers
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- While whisking or beating on low speed, pour in the milk.
- Whisk in the pudding mix and vanilla extract until the mixture thickens.
- Half of the Cool Whip should be folded in.
- In the bottom of a casserole dish, spread a spoonful of the pudding mixture.
- Cover the plate with a single layer of graham crackers.
- About a third of the pudding mixture should be spread over the graham crackers.
- A layer of freshly sliced bananas should be placed on top of the pudding layer.
- To form three layers, continue layering graham crackers, pudding, and banana slices.
- Finish with the remaining Cool Whip on top of the last banana layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Graham cracker crumbs, a whipped cream swirl, and/or fresh banana slices can be added as a garnish.
