Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 1 packet
  • 1 cup warm water about 110°F
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions
 

Prepare the Yeast Mixture:

  • In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water. Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Make the Dough:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Prepare Garlic Butter:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter and minced garlic.

Shape the Rolls:

  • Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Spread the garlic butter evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and then the chopped parsley.
  • Roll the dough up, starting from the long edge, and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  • Place the rolls cut side up in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

Bake the Rolls:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with additional melted butter immediately after taking them out of the oven.

Serve:

  • Allow the rolls to cool slightly in the pan before serving.
