  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Burger sauce store-bought or homemade

For the Burger Sauce (if making homemade):

Instructions
 

Cook the Beef:

  • Cook until the beef is browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat and set aside to cool slightly.

Prepare the Salad:

  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and pickles.

Make the Burger Sauce (if making homemade):

  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, and white vinegar.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Salad:

  • Add the cooked ground beef to the salad bowl.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
