Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings! Succulent, juicy, and tender enough to stand alone. These are not just fried chicken wings – they have a subtle flavor that is perfect for game nights, movie nights, or even date nights. The best and tasty thing is you can cook these up in less than 20 minutes. They are not deep-fried so there is no waiting for hours for the oil to heat up. Most chicken wing recipes use either a deep fryer or an oven. I was never a fan of crispy chicken wings from an oiled deep fryer, so I came up with my recipe using the air fryer.
Prep Time: 4 minutes
Cook Time: 16 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
Instructions:
- Place the chicken wings in a mixing bowl after thoroughly drying them with paper
towels.
- Coat in 1 tablespoon of oil, then season with 2 teaspoons garlic salt and 1 teaspoon
lemon pepper. Toss to coat evenly in seasoning.
- Place chicken wings on air frying basket, spacing equally, and air fried for 8 minutes
per side, or 16 minutes total, or until crisp and golden brown on the outside.
Notes:
If you’re going to double the recipe, c the wings for 18-22 minutes, or until the skin is crisp, flipping halfway through. The time it takes to bake is determined by the size of the air fryer basket.
