Ingredients
  

For the Pot Roast:

  • 3-4 lb chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6-8 pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sliders:

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 24 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced dried onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pot Roast:

  • Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  • Place the roast in a slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  • Add the butter and pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreds.

Shred the Roast:

  • Once cooked, remove the roast from the slow cooker.
  • Shred the meat using two forks, discarding any large pieces of fat.

Assemble the Sliders:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached.
  • Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  • Layer half of the cheese slices over the rolls.
  • Spread the shredded pot roast evenly over the cheese.
  • Add the remaining cheese slices on top of the roast.
  • Place the top half of the rolls on top.

Add the Topping:

  • In a bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, dried onion, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Drizzle this mixture evenly over the sliders.

Bake the Sliders:

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil.
  • Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

Serve:

  • Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before cutting into individual servings.

  • The pot roast can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
